What I help with

Every person is different, so every plan is too. I offer support in three areas.

Daily living at home

Hands-on help with everyday routines like mornings, meals and personal care, at a pace that works for your family member.

Skills for independence

Practice with the things that build confidence: cooking, shopping, handling money, staying organized and speaking up for yourself.

Out in the community

Outings with a purpose, like the library, the store, a class or the park. Social skills grow where life actually happens.

Respite care, a break for parents and caregivers, is coming soon.

How it works

  1. Say hello

Send me a note with the form below and tell me a little about what you are looking for.

  2. We meet

A relaxed first conversation, with no pressure, about what your family member enjoys, needs and is working toward.

  3. We get started

Your Financial Management Service signs me up as your provider, which includes a state background check. Then we set a schedule and goals, and I show up as the same familiar face every time.

How payment works

My services are set up for families in California's Self-Determination Program. Your Financial Management Service, the payroll company the program has you use, pays me from your family member's budget. Not in the program yet? Reach out anyway. I am glad to talk it through.

Good to know: I meet you at home or in the community, and I do not provide transportation.

Hi, I'm Rebecca.

I have spent more than twenty years with people with developmental disabilities, in classrooms, homes and the community. I hold a bachelor's degree in psychology, worked as a special education classroom aide with students with autism and ADHD, and have worked one-on-one in behavior support with children, teens and adults ever since.

RAD Supports exists to offer families something simple: one consistent person who shows up, gets to know your family member, and builds on what they already love.

I live in Oceanside, and RAD Supports is available to families across North County San Diego.

Let's talk.

Tell me a little about what you are looking for and how to reach you. I will get back to you soon.

Please leave out medical details and ID numbers. We can cover those when we talk.
